Kaiju Studios has a straight forward goal: create meaningful products and experiences through poetic simplicity, creative thinking and elegance in function and form. We believe that successful design can only be achieved with a thorough understanding of the needs and aspirations of both client and their customer, and we cultivate this knowledge through research, observation and analysis. We also believe that creating an emotional connection between objects and individuals is more art than science. It’s something we achieve with intuition informed by experience. In all our work, Kaiju Studios attempts to marry the rational and the emotive.

Kaiju Studios helps organizations develop outstanding products and experiences. We are experts at design thinking, applying a creative methodology to our clients' problems to deliver new and innovative results. By focusing on a way to creatively approach problems versus a mastery of solving a single problem, our team is able to work across traditional categories in a broad variety of disciplines, from products and furniture to graphics and interactive design.
A good deal of what we do after that big idea is considering the small details; the best plan still requires flawless execution to succeed. Kaiju Studios prides itself on the quality of our deliverables and attention to details, and over our 10 years of experience we have consistently exceeded our clients needs.

Nothing excites our designers more than the unknown and new, diving into the fundamental questions and exciting opportunities at the heart of our clients needs. Innovation is a goal in all of our work and we constantly seek for unconventional, unexpected, and novel forms and uses. But we don’t pursue innovation for the sake of innovation; we also don’t accept legacies for the sake of nostalgia or tradition. Innovation to us means looking for opportunities to evaluate the best way to achieve results within a given problem and context. To do this we rely on a simple yet robust methodology.
We listen to our clients and their customers- it sounds obvious, but a comprehensive understanding is critical to success. Once we have a thorough knowledge of their concerns, we question assumptions and work to define what the problem is at the core. This allows us to base all our future work through the framework of that central definition.
Research, observe, collect, explore, question, analyze; great design comes from a thorough exploration of the problems at hand. We delve deeper into understanding the user and exploring the obstacles and the opportunities of the central challenge.
Through brainstorming, sketching, playing and hard work, we generate concepts and solutions. We consider alternatives, and open ourselves to the possibilities. Ideas merge, expand and begin to take the shape of a coherent design solution.
We refine and resolve the selected concepts, finesse the details and find that perfect curve. We build prototypes, and get hands on as concepts become physical. Iteration and evolution until everything is just right, and ultimately deliver the final hand-off to our clients.
